As much as we might want to ignore it, AI is here to stay. It's not a style of the week type of trend, it's a fundamental shift with how we will interact with technology. I read an article the other day that said something along the lines of 'judging AI by it's ability to automate tasks is like judging the iPhone on it's ability to make calls'. This really stuck for me, AI will change a lot and in ways we can't fully understand yet.

So what does that mean for work? What type of work will exist in the future? I think (caution opinion alert) there will be three broad categories of work in the future.

technology/coding
energy
material / biological science

How can we get ready for this new world? Learn as much as we can about how AI works, test different AI models, build some of those personal projects you been putting off.
